Television

Shane Turgeon has appeared numerous times on radio and television, both in his local market and internationally. He can often be seen on City TV, CTV and Global Edmonton discussing collectibles or various collectible events happening in Alberta.

In 2009 Turgeon was featured in Jason Hoen’s documentary on geek culture, Pegwarmers.

In 2010 and 2011 Turgeon appeared on a semi-regular basis discussing pop culture collectibles on CBC Edmonton’s RadioActive program.

In 2012 Turgeon had a television series in development with Jarrett Creative Group and while the series was optioned by the Syfy network and they filmed a sizzle reel in Peru, it has yet to be picked up by a network.

In 2013, Turgeon appeared as a guest appraiser on the Nerdist for a segment called, “Fantiques Roadshow” and as an expert appraiser on two episodes of Fan Addicts for the Reelz Network where he appraised items from the world’s largest E.T. collection and Gus Lopez’s Star Wars collection.

As of 2020, Turgeon is back in development with Jarrett Creative Group for a top secret project!
